The Story

Hey there! What is it that fuels you? For me, it’s writing about stories and how they shape our everyday experiences. They have the power to transcend our collective otherwise meaningless existence. Is there a hidden order to the chaos around us? Are you also curious about the seemingly distant things that connect to each other, leaving intangible marks behind? Then, dear reader you have come to the right place. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas in here, and I hope that you find it half as interesting.

A little bit about myself. My name is Malavika. I am an architect and urban researcher currently based in the Netherlands. Originally hailing from a coastal town in Southern India, I have had my fair share of moving around and living in different places. Like many other vagabonds out there, you are never truly sure where (or whom) to call home. Apart from the confusion and ever so slight loneliness, it also brings with a deep curiosity to explore, to seek shared experiences and to define one’s identity. So let’s explore together – stories about people and places – poetry and prose – fiction and reality – and find in them a silver lining, which we can all connect to.
